Kicking this thing off
I think the first thing to say here is that part of sticking together is giving each other a hand. When you reach out for a hand it needs to be your Union Brothers and Sisters who come to your side. Some have pledged their first Strike Benefit Check to kick this thing off. There is food at the Union Hall and there are jobs out there and this is a great place to post those jobs. It may be a while before Management comes to their senses. In the mean time, lets hunker down; get a part time job, defer what payments you can, cut back on your budget and help your Union Brothers and Sister as much as you can.

Hello brothers and sisters i know times are hard but this will be the best thing for use in the long run. As far as jobs. They are out there, it might not be what we want but they are there. Try contacting Wood Personnel Services i went in this morning filled out application did an interview and walked out with an job. woods in nashville is a joke dont waste your time was told to come back monday were not taking application,over 80 people in there when i got there at 12 they didnt mention their sign on their own door that says open at 11 its a joke,by the,, way the company bought the scabs lunch today
I would try to stay positive. A negative mind is a closed mind. An open mind allows you to see opportunities that you can’t see from a negative perspective. If you walk in to a room full of people looking for work, perhaps you can earn some money there by providing a service, such as writing resumes.
A negative attitude will cause you to be turned away at the door. Poor grammar won’t help much either. Oh, …and there are no free lunches; the scabs are eating their hearts out. Scabbing is like trading your birthright for a bowl of soup.

I agree with communicator there are jobs out there. I will admit they may not be great jobs and I took one of those not so great jobs but I don't have to worry about feeding my family. Brothers and Sisters take what you can get and think of it as a blessing because there are a lot of people out there in the world that has less. A lot of temp services are hiring right now it is that time of year.
